Unusual oak mule chest, late 18th Century with later adaptations, having a fixed top with seven fielded panel drop down front over a stand fitted with three short drawers and later brass handles, all raised on substantial stile supports, width 147cm, depth 59, height 120cm

There is gapping to the planks at the top with degradation of finish on the back edge. Old woodworm. The whole piece has been adapted to have a fall front. Replaced brass work throughout. Missing rear feet. Replaced brackets on the front feet. Repairs, knocks and scrapes throughout. Missing slithers to moulding. Old woodworm damage to drawer linings. Loose drawer front to the centre bottom. Overall not without its problems.
