Japanese Satsuma globular vase, late Meiji (1868-1912), decorated with butterflies flying amidst flowers, in colours and gilt against a buff ground, height 31cm

There is light crackeleure throughout. There is some wear and slight discolouration to the gilt around the shoulder. There is similar wear to the gilt at the extremities of the body. The gilt line around the neck is all but worn away.
No further damage.
