More Information

One of the covers has been restored, both have wear to the gilt detail. One of the vases has some scratching over one of the figures. There is wear to the gilt detail in areas and on the same vase a small amount of loss to the turquoise 'jewelling'. The gilt finish on the handles is now discoloured. There is some spotting to the cobalt blue over the base (see image). Wear to the gilt line on the square foot.
The other vase is in a similar condition, again there is some minor scratching over one of the figures. Some losses to the 'jewelling'. Rubbing to the gilt in areas. Similar degradation to the cobalt over the foot. Less wear to the gilt around the square base. Similar discolouration to the metal mounts.
