Fees

Royal Worcester fruit decorated small teapot and cover, circa 1945 - 55, decorated with apples and blackberries by H Ayrton, black printed mark with three dots, height 10.5cm

More Information

The lid has a factory dull wash on the underside; at first we suspected that the cover was restored, however it appears to be factory clean.
The teapot body has some factory blemishes, also some small scratches. There are faults to the gilding on the handle. There are some tiny pinprick faults to the gilt on the rim of the base. This piece overall is showing characteristics of being a ‘second’ and there is a small black mark within the factory stamp. No crazing has been found and no restoration.
No further damage detected.
