George III mahogany sewing table, circa 1790, with hinged top and two false drawer front over a single pull out drawer fitted with brass knobs and kite shaped bone escutcheons, raised on tapered square section legs with spade toes, 38.5cm x 28cm, height 76cm

The top is a little sun bleached. There is a horizontal split running along the back. There is no key present and the locking rod for the bottom drawer is also missing. There is a small section of beading missing that runs around the edge of the sewing well. There is a small piece of beading missing from the top of the rear right leg, and a couple of what look like flight holes visible within the beading running around the edge of the lower drawer, the upper drawers being false.
