German (Wertheim) silver novelty tea caddy, in the form of a sedan chair, import marks for Chester, 1907, decorated with courtiers and foliate scrolls throughout, surmounted with a crown finial to the removable cover, height 14cm, weight approx. 243g (7.8 troy ozs)

At the top there is a slight compression dent to one of the corners (see image). Slight bends to the staves holding the chair. The marks are clear on the underside. Overall in good condition.
