Whilst we cannot guarantee the working condition of barometers we have observed the tube to have a good compliment of mercury without air pockets. The finger moves freely when tilted. The thermometer is in good order. No cracks to the glasses. Slight rippling to the veneer to the right of the thermometer. In our opinion this piece has been restored some years ago. The brass would benefit from repolishing.
