Fees

Matched pair of Staffordshire blue and white printware meat plates, circa 1830-50, in the Wild Rose pattern, 41cm x 32cm and 39cm x 31cm

More Information

One of the plates is in very good condition but for the print on the front whereby the face of the punting man has not come out in the transfer but the glaze is nice and white and the plate rings when tapped. The other plate has a better transfer, but the plate sounds a little dull in comparison but no cracks have been found. On the back there is some slight discolouration to the glaze.
