George III mahogany small chest of drawers, circa 1780, the top with a moulded edge over four graduating long drawers each with brass swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet, width 91cm, depth 44.5cm, height 83cm

More Information

Overall the chest is looking a little dry. There are some ring marks and minor scratches to the top. There is a slither veneer loss to the back right hand edge. The handles appear to be original as do the escutcheons. The upper lock is missing. There is no key. Minor veneer losses elsewhere on the bracket feet. Veneer replacement on the rear right foot. Overall a nicely proportioned chest which would benefit from minor restoration and re-polishing.
