Burmantofts faience Anglo-Persian vase, by Leonard King, model DS9-108, of tapered twin handled form decorated with a mythological sea creature and bold scrolling flowers, in colours against a blue ground, impressed and painted marks, height 21cm

The rim has a small glaze chip. There is crackelure throughout with some powdering around the base. There is a glaze loss to the one of the leaves at the base. There appears to be a crack approx. 3cm just above the handle, which can be felt with a finger nail on the outside and also felt on the inside but it doesn't terminate anywhere but in the body, total length approx. 3-4cm. No further damage detected.
