Fees

Chinese blue and white crackle glazed vase, late 19th Century, of large proportions, having a cylinder neck decorated with a charging army of warriors, within relief bands of fruiting vines and foaming waves, biscuit glazed in brown, faux seal mark to the base, height 57cm

More Information

There is a large body crack at one side of the vase, whilst this is hidden within the crackelure of the glaze, the crack is most definitely there as when tapped the vase sounds dull and the porcelain exhibits slight movement when held. There is also a hair crack to the rim. We have attempted to take images of the crack from inside the vase but this is proving to be quite difficult.
