Japanese Satsuma model of a boy, Meiji (1868-1912), seated with his pet dog, decorated throughout with black karakusa scrolls, gilt and terracotta decoration, height 26cm

One finger of the right hand is missing. On the left hand tips of four fingers are missing. There is a chip to his robe near the foot, chips to the foot, other small chips elsewhere. Small loss to the brim of the hat. General crazing and discolouration. Some firing cracks at the joints. No further damage to report.
