To answer your immediate question, no this is not comfortable - the seat sags when sat on and one can hear the springs straining under the weight. The upholstery is a little loose on the top rail and is showing signs of wear. The framework appears to be good, the arms flex a little. There has been one repair to the front left foot. No further damage detected.
