Sevres soft paste porcelain tea bowl, decorated with a monogram in gold and a floral bouquet for Charlotte Louise (Maria Carolina of Naples, sister of Marie-Antoinette) within a gilded laurel wreath, the body dispersed with blue forget me nots and gilt leaves beneath a scalloped border, interlaced blue 'L' mark, crowned and with date code 'ii' and gilder's initials 'G I' possibly for E Girard, 8cm diameter

Condition is good. Some minor rubbing to the gilt on the rim. Minor scratches visible through a 10x loupe.
19.4.21 - Please note that we are of the opinion that this bowl may not be of Sevres manufacture and has been later decorative to resemble tea wares made by Sevres for the Charlotte Louise service.
