There is a small chip to the girdle adjacent to one of the claws, this can be felt with a fingernail and seen through a 10x loupe. The claw mounts are good, the shank is good, marks are clear. There are signs of wear due to normal use and age. The diamond is as catalogued, approx. 1.5ct when measured with a Mohs gauge.
