This painting is in untouched condition.
There is a mildewey bloom to the surface of the painting which is presented behind glass. This probably adds a certain greyness to the painting which will benefit from a professional clean.
The frame is contemporary with the painting and whilst showing signs of drying and smoke discolouration is in generally good condition .
